The 78th World Health Assembly concluded on May 27 in Geneva, Switzerland. During the event, China, Malaysia, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, and Seychelles co-hosted a side event themed "Implementing Traditional Medicine Strategies to Advance Universal Health Coverage" on May 20 in Geneva. This marked the first time WHO member states organized a side event focused on traditional medicine during the assembly, aiming to promote the integration of traditional medicine into national health systems, better serve universal health coverage and sustainable development goals, and contribute to building a global community of health for all.

Shanghai Nahefa Health participated as the sole Chinese enterprise representative at the side event. Throughout the meeting, the company actively engaged, sharing cutting-edge advancements in traditional medicine research and invaluable practical experience from real-world applications. These contributions not only reflected the dedication of its research and development teams but also underscored the unique value and immense potential of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in contemporary global health, offering Chinese insights to build a global community of health for all.

During the trip, Mr. Dai met with Dr. Dong Hongguang, Director of the China-Switzerland TCM Center (Geneva), at the side event venue. This encounter laid a solid foundation for deeper collaboration and international research partnerships. To celebrate the 78th World Health Assembly’s side event on traditional medicine, Shanghai Nahefa Health, in partnership with the Shanghai Yanfang Charity Foundation and the China-Switzerland TCM Center (Geneva), organized a charitable initiative titled "High-Quality Integration into the Belt and Road Initiative: Promoting the Inheritance and Innovation of TCM Abroad." The event involved donating digital TCM solution services to overseas TCM healthcare institutions to support the dissemination of TCM culture and services for local communities. This initiative aligns with President Xi Jinping’s vision for the Belt and Road Initiative, advancing high-level international openness and cultural exchange, showcasing China’s leading AI-driven TCM innovations, and fostering global TCM heritage and modernization.

By integrating big data and artificial intelligence, Shanghai Nahefa Health has pioneered a new paradigm for a "Smart TCM Ecosystem," setting a national benchmark for TCM modernization. The company presents a Chinese model of harmonizing traditional medicine with modern technology to the world, driven by its mission to empower TCM through science and technology while shouldering the responsibility of preserving and innovating China’s ancient medical traditions for the modern era.
